Survivors

Keep together at all time, the only weakness here is the boomers, because they have bigger chance of hitting all.

Oh And friendly fire, but preventing that is easy:

Remember to allow your friends to fire to so crouch, another good idea is making a wall of one to two that hits back the infected while the others shoot and rescue from specials.

Never ever walk infront of a shooting player, it is just suicide! Just relax and drink some coffee while your friend/s takes down the horde for you or you could keep an eye on there back!

Stay calm, but not too calm because there is a slow respawning and it will end with a slow dead.

EDIT: I NEARLY FORGOT THE WEAPON SECTION

Shotgun (The bad one)
I recommend using this instead of the UZI in all situations since I can't see any advantage in using the uzi because of its low damage and not so good again acc.

Uzi:
It will possibly be good to have it in T Vs. T, but the Shotgun is still needed.

Auto Shotgun (The good one)
Fighting off a horde of infected with this one is both fun and effective!

Only disadvantage is that you can't damage as much in long range (you don't hit as good) and you have the risk to damage instead of helping your comrades.

M16:
Great in T Vs. T and is a must have in the higher difficults.

High damage even if it is long ranged and great acc.

Hunting Rifle:
Great weapon to fend off the upcoming hordes before going to the next area, but switching to guns is needed when fighting against incoming hordes because of low ammo and slow reload.

Smokers:

If your friend is being pulled away and you can't see the smoker to shoot it, melee your friend to get him out of the tongue crushing, but remember the smoker is still alive.

Now if your friend is too high up so you can't melee, shoot the tongue to stop it crushing him/her.

If your friend has been pulled of a ledge and is in need for your help, then help shoot the tongue/smoker, then pull him/her up otherwise he will just get pulled away again.

Hunters:

This is a bit weird but as the hunter is jumping in mid-air you can melee him to stop him pouncing on you (Little risky at first, but after some practice.

If a hunter is on fire stay away from him due to him doing extra damage because you'll get burned as well as clawed to death (Hunters get bonus to damage).

Boomers:

DO NOT shoot when they have just turned a corner and you are now face to face! melee them run back and then shoot!

If the damage has already happend to your comrade or yourself then shoot the Boomer before it escapes or gets more of your comrades.

If your friend has been vomited on crowd around him/her so they don't get hit by the infected.

If you get vomited on stay close to your comrades and find a corner, then melee.

Tanks:

Be at perfect health (Fastest movement speed) then molotov the tank and run back towards the saveroom until the tank dies, if you get to the saveroom before then close the door and wait.

If your friend is getting the shit beaten out of them melee them in the back! They will instantly change target!

Witch:

If she is blocking your path don't just shoot her, you just waste your health, each go one at a time and wait for here to chill and happily go back to here emo style, then run past.

Of course turn your flashlights off.

If you do get her pissed she only goes for the person who pissed her off and then she just runs like a coward never to be seen again.

If you have the autoshotgun, get behind her and when she stands, shoot rapidly 5-6 times, she will die easily, no matter what difficulty you're on.

If you have an extra molotov then do the same as against the tank (notice it dies faster AND RUNS FASTER! So it will infact be better to just shoot at it while it is on fire :S)

Other:

Each infected have a little sound/instrument, if you listen you can work out whats ahead without having to find out your own way and getting killed in every harsh way possible.

In a area where you do something to alert the horde, PREPARE! otherwise your doomed! (That is if you play Expert)

Teamwork is everything! If you have a med-kit and pills and have a friend on bad health, give em some pills or heal em either way is good, if you have a stupid teammate who always get damage just give him pills. (Like me)

If you got a good team and you know you won't die while you are unable to move (laying down and have to get help) then remember to only use the medkits when you have been beaten down 3 times (or is it 2? well until you can't see colours)

Team vs. Team

Survivors

One of the most dangerous things in T Vs. T is your own teammates, yeah I mean it! They are the ones who "Save" you from the hunters and smokers that have trapped you, but the truth is they have just dealt a lot of damage to you instead of helping you.

Drop the Shotguns and choose the machine guns instead! They are more accurate when helping your teammate so you will not kill him instead.

The Campaign tips helps here too (except a few)

Hunter:

Push them away before they get a chance to hit or get any of your comrades, but remember that they can jump at high speed.

Remember they have low HP and is the most common in T vs. T

Be careful if you use shotgun when trying to save your friend attack so your comrade isn't in the mark or switch to handguns, but the best thing is to push it off him then melee it to dead, but sometimes you aren't close enough to your friend so you have to shoot to minimize the damage.

Smokers:

These guys can split your team up if you do not watch out! Always have 1-2 watch the back and someone watching the over your heads.

If your friend get chaught then release him as fast as possible, but watch yourself too and remember that your comrades will possibly try to help him too, then if you aren't in the best position to help him then protect your comrades instead.

Boomers:

These guys can be the most harmless guys, but also the most dangerous! They are mostly the ones damaging the players most because people do not know how to avoid it.

When players are playing as boomers they will mostly try to get one from the team to shoot it right in front of everybody, but why shoot it? Because else it just purks over your instead and will still be alive, but remember that Purk have a high recovery time so if it already have used purk then you can relax and get away from it before shooting it, but remember it can still melee you and deal some damage.

Avoiding the Boomers purk or explosing can sometimes become near impossible and then the best thing is to find a good room for your team and get ready to melee! It is possible to not get any damage at all if you have a good spot.

Tank:

Molotov and run, but remember it is another person you are dealing with.

You can't melee it from behind to switch target! It is another player, remember Very Happy

Never let him get a single hit and the player will be unable to control it.

Infected

Hunters:

If you jump from a height you do more damage, the max damage is 25 so don't go jumping of a skyscraper.

If your on fire that is good (Or not! You will die in a short time) you will do more damage to the survivors

Hidding around corners is stupid, waiting for a survivor to come along and the pounce and you will find your death shortly after! Hunters have low health and will not be able to deal any damage when pouncing if there is another surviver near.

Blending in with a horde and meleeing for 10 damage per swipe (This is also very effective without the horde)

Remember you make a moan/barking-ish sound when you crouch.

Also, pouncing on them normally (this if there working as a good team) only gets you around 5 damage done to them (if any at all!) before you get blown away with bullets and molotovs, you can claw at them instead.

You might always want to go for the survivor who thought it was a good idea to run ahead to get to the safe room without his/her friends, go for them.

You can also wall jump if needed to get to a higher part of a roof.

Smokers:

If there is someone on a lower or higher level on their own go for them, the survivors will have to find some way of getting to them or not actually helping them at all.

Try height roofs and cover so they can not see you, but remember you do have weird green air coming out of you so be careful.

If a horde is coming after them, jump down and let them kill you, this making them not see as well causing them to shoot each other or taking more damage.

Boomers:

If you vomit on all four of them it makes a bigger horde than a normal horde would be like, plus the advantage to this is that they can't see as well trying to fall back, sometime falling back into a horde behind them.

Don't forget you can just run in and let them kill you making your vomit go all over them and making them stutter back and causing a delay helping the horde get to them.

If an other survivor is down and someone is helping him up, attack the guy who is trying to help the guy up and he might be stupid enough to shoot you making you explode and getting bile all over them, if the other to suvivors haven't done it before hand.

Try and get them when they are in the open, the more angles of attack the more damage they take as there is no where for them to "funnel" the hoard down, but remember they will be able to see you easely when you walk towards them, so get them while they are busy.

Tanks:

FRIENDLY FIRE IS ON!

As a tank you can get survivors down easier than other infected, so when you get one down don't just kill that one, charge after the others as well so they all go down causing you to win!

If you are lose your control just attack random infected wandering around so it refills your meter.

If a smoker or hunter got someone pinned or crushed don't attack the survivor because you will attack your teammate and kill them thus making the survivor get up and run like a girl.

If someone is near an edge HIT THEM they fall of or dangle from the edge with a plea for help!

Do not ever forget if they try to run away from you just throw a chuck of debris at them making them fall over.

Other:

If you are a Boomer or a Smoker even a Hunter stand in front of a car (or a witch) that will go off and let the survivors shoot you, there is a big chance that they will hit you and also the car (the witch), this would alert the horde (anger the witch) also giving your team an advantage to get the survivors when they are in big trouble with a horde(WITCH!!!!).

You have big advantage as a Smoker and hunter when the Boomer have gotten the survivors because they mostly won't have time to help there friend (or even realize they have been taken)
